E-mail from a customer (B.E) received June 4, 2008:

Hi Niels, got out a couple more times and tried a few different presentations with the boilies and pop-ups, seems like the carp are still not quite where they usually are at this time of year so my results are not good yet but I am still impressed with the durability of your baits. Just another couple weeks and the carp should be getting into the marshes etc once things start getting greener.

Anyhow, again I used the stimulator paste and liquid. The paste and liquid do work well on catfish. I was getting some good hits using the stimulator boilie for cats but with the rigs I was using I wasn't able to set a hook but switched to the paste and it works well. Even holds up as mentioned before in heavy current which blows away any paste type bait I have tried before. The shrimp still out produce the paste but the shrimp can be a less cost effective bait in the long run, as once thawed and refrozen they don't work well at all anymore. So each outing is $10 for shrimp where as the paste (though each lump really is only good for one fish) you end up only using what you need and are left with no waste. We also again soaked some shrimp in the stimulator liquid and though I am not 100% certain I do think this seemed to draw them in quicker than shrimp alone. Will be doing some more catfishing soon.

Here are a couple of the big ones from our outing
