I have been a serious fisherman most of my life, fishing for multiple species in both freshwater & salt. Specimen carp fishing has been my focus for the past 15 years. I concentrate most of my efforts on large tidal rivers & reservoirs in the northeast USA, where the fish grow large & strong. I am fortunate to live where I do, as there are many carp fishing opportunities within a close proximity to my home base in Bethel, CT. I have been affiliated with Concept-For-You for over a year and a half now along with my partner Ed Wagner, helping the Company learn & understand the US carp angling scene, and to lend insight to current bait trends here as well. I am happy to represent the Concept-For-You Company, as their product line, in my opinion, has some of the best ready made baits available. Fishing Concept baits gives me all the confidence I need on the bank side, whatever the situation may be.

Hi. My name is Luis "Miguel" Angelo.
I live in New Jersey, I'm married and I have one daughter, and I love fishing. In my home country of Portugal I was a match fisherman. When I moved here to the US I found my new passion - carp fishing! There is nothing like the sound of bite alarms going off, and the sound of a drag screaming!
Tight lines!
** Miguel has been a big part of the northeast carp fishing scene for over 10 years. His match fishing and watercraft skills are top notch, and he can often be found fishing a float for carp, another skill he has mastered. Miguel has many big fish to his name, even from his difficult home state of New Jersey, where big specimens can be hard to find!

Val is a true specimen hunter with many big fish captures from his home New York State. One of his favorite areas of concentration is the Hudson River, a relatively unexplored water for large carp. Armed with his boat, Val is always looking for that next honey hole for big fish. He is a long session angler, often spending multiple days in one swim to get the best out of his baiting strategies.
Val lives in Ossining NY with his wife & 2 sons (pretty good carp anglers themselves!).

Hello, my name is Nikki. I am a catch and release carp angler here in Michigan, USA. I enjoy spending most of my free time at some of my favorite swims which include big and small rivers, ponds and lakes of all sizes, catching carp of any size in all weather conditions. I also enjoy teaching others about the sport and hosting small events. Although, not many women around here care to get into carp fishing, I aim to infect others with my passion for the sport. For most of my tackle needs I am a user and abuser of Resistance Tackle goods. I look forward to sharing my experiences from the good fortune Concept Baits will surely bring me.

Fishing since I was a child in creeks, rivers, lakes and
oceans. I grew up within walking distance of Lake Whitney in
Texas providing ample opportunity to become a fishing fanatic.
At the age of 45, fishing is now an absolute necessity in my life.
After a lifetime of fishing all species in both fresh and
saltwater across the US and abroad, I became a carper in the
spring of 2006. I prefer long secession carping and thoroughly
enjoy tournament fishing.
I'm very pleased to be a member of Team Concept USA and as
a field tester; I happily apply Concept for You products to my
fishing strategies.

In 2005 I received an invite to meet Stefan Hitz, founder of Concept-For-You Company to discuss their wishes to enter the US carp bait market. We met in Manhattan, and it didn't take much to say I was hooked straight away. I liked what I saw & heard, as their bait quality was top shelf. The rest is as they say, was history. At the time I was preparing for the 2005 World Cup on the St. Lawrence with partner Mike Dragone. I gave him a call with the good news that we had a sponsor. Mike was quickly on board with it and Concept-For-You USA had begun.
Carp fishing was always my passion as a child, but after a stint in the army and getting married it went on the back burner for many years. In 1995 I purchased a summer home in upstate New York adjacent to the Pepacton Reservoir. When I found out it contained carp it did not take long to get the carp adrenaline flowing again. A fishing buddy showed me an advert he cut out about the Carp Anglers Group, and before long I was on the phone talking carp with the group's founder Bud Yancy.
It's been over ten years since then, and I've loved every moment that I've spent on the bank pursuing our most elusive prey. I have fished the WCC (World Cup USA), the Specialist Tournament, and I am currently the NY State Chairman for the Carp Anglers Group. I have hosted and attended many fish-ins. I have met & made many good friends, and I'm flattered to have Mike Dragone as my partner for tournaments as well as an associate for Concept-For-You. I turned 61 this year, but my fishing keeps me young. I can't move as fast, and I don't have the stamina I had when I was younger. But you'd be surprised to see my reaction time when a Delkim alarm goes off, or when a 30 pounder comes to the net!
We'll that's my bio, my story, the reason my wife sometimes says "is carp all you ever think about!!?" I sometimes look into the mirror and quietly mouth the word "yessss!"

I have seriously fished Carp for ten years. I live in Long Sault, Ontario , Canada. It is situated on the St. Lawrence river.
I fish the St. Lawrence and its tributaries between Kingston and the Quebec border.
In my spare time, when I'm not fishing, I like to help my parents at their tackle shop. Occassionally I guide for Carp. I enjoy teaching new anglers proper techniques to catch and handle fish , also the importance of using unhooking mats, weigh slings, nets, marker floats, and proper hooklinks, etc.
